Pharmecons is an international Health Technology Assessment and Real-World Evidence agency specializing in market access issues for medicines and medical devices, health economics and patient engagement studies. The company is based in Greece and UK, with academic links around Europe, which allows to draw on emergent research in health economics, evidence-based medicine, guidance on CE mark for digital and medical technologies.
In 2021, Pharmecons Easy Access had the opportunity to participate as Health Technology Assessment partners in the Horizon 2020 program titled “HosmartAI - Smart Hospital with AI technologies”. In this project, the company was responsible for selecting the Key Performance Indicators for each medical and digital technology used in all program pilots, as well as conducting economic evaluations of all medical and digital technologies involved.
Pharmecons' main clients are pharmaceutical and medical device companies. The company provides guidance and conducts the necessary evidence synthesis and research to support them in achieving reimbursement from healthcare authorities across Europe.
