The IRHIS project continues its journey towards scaling innovative remote patient monitoring solutions across Europe, with partners recently coming together in Sofia, Bulgaria, to review the project's progress and discuss the next steps for increasing its impact.
The partners' meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the latest project milestones and, importantly, to focus on how the solutions tested through the IRHIS DemoScale Labs can deliver tangible results for patients, healthcare professionals, and other users.
A key focus of the discussions was the progress of the DemoScale Labs and pilot activities, where IRHIS technologies are being tested in real-world settings. The pilots involve the collection and use of data from participating patients and athletes, providing valuable insights into how remote monitoring solutions perform in practice and how they can be further improved. By gathering evidence from the pilots, the IRHIS consortium aims to identify opportunities to improve the technologies, strengthen their usability, and support their wider adoption.
The IRHIS partners and the DemoScale Lab also took part in the Kosher/Hive/Medtech Buzz Event in Sofia, bringing the project's solutions to the wider HealthTech community. The event provided an opportunity to showcase the work being carried out through IRHIS, exchange experiences with other organisations, and connect with professionals working across the digital health ecosystem. Discussions covered a range of topics, from remote patient monitoring and rehabilitation to emerging approaches in digital health.
